Molybdenum Furnace Grids and Fixtures

Description

For applications in vacuum furnaces and inert atmospheres above 2000ºF, Nickel alloy manufacturers do not recommend their alloys. In this case the material of choice is molybdenum or a higher temperature molybdenum alloy. Tungsten is another choice, but it is much more expensive. (We can get that for you too.) Multiple-tier grids can dramatically increase your furnace throughput, if you are now only using a single-tier grid. We've built round grids up to 120" diameter (2 pieces - See photo below). We'll supply to your design or ours. We carry material in stock to assemble a 1" x 24" x 36" or a 1.5" x 36" x 48" TZM grid with 3" load bar centers in just a few days. Lead time is subject to availability of stock. Lead times vary (depending on grid size and complexity) from 10-16 weeks ARO, if we need to order the materials. Our prices are very competitive. If you have unused furnace height available and would like to explore adding more layers of parts into your furnace, please contact us at 208-765-6854 or sales@gvtinc.com to learn more about how we can help you to accomplish this. Using vacuum furnaces for additive manufacturing? Our grids are designed for your furnaces. Ask us how we can help you add layers to your fixtures to run more parts per load.
